Lessons
Since 2010, Ernie has been teaching private trumpet lessons and is currently running a healthy trumpet studio, both online and in person. Teaching a wide range of levels and ages, he emphasizes the importance of fundamentals and musicality. As a lifelong teacher, he knows that every student learns differently, so he prioritizes understanding each studio member’s needs and adapting to their individual learning styles.
Some achievements of current and former students include qualifying for All-State ensembles, winning scholarship/admission auditions to preferred music schools, and winning auditions for regional military bands. Former students who pursue non-musical careers often attribute their success to the skills they developed in the studio.
